In March of 2018 I was brought on as the Special Projects Coordinator for the architecture office at Atkins Global, here in Austin. This position was created to fulfill needs that the directors felt were integral in updating their image, and attracting new and interesting clients; with the first priority being to update their project portfolios. Along with the portfolio redesign, I have assembled various presentation decks curated to suit clients' sensibilities and needs, designed an installation for a trade specific event, and created a number of collateral items to aid in various pursuits used for marketing and in-house purposes.
The first of the four, planned portfolios was a general preview of the work Atkins does across a variety of project types. The second featured their Higher Education projects; and the third is currently at the printer, which focuses on their federal projects. And the fourth, will showcase their Intermodal projects. However, due to the success and reaction to the first two, I was also asked to put together digital version for the architecture TPO, and a couple of miniature versions for curated for specific client pitches. I have always loved publication design; being able to dive so deeply into the process has been immensely gratifying.
