Kinetic Typography Typography in the 4th dimension

While working toward my MFA at TX State, one of my major focuses was typography. In one of the classes I took there was a significant focus on kinetic type, and what could be done with it. For our first assignment, we were tasked with creating a poster in 2, 3, and 4 dimensions. My first rendition was a normal, black and white poster. The second version was the same poster in four layers (with a layer of foam core between layers) with different elements cut out and layered to add depth. And then to show it in 4 dimensions, I made a digital version and animated it to music.

Our second assignment was to either choose, or create a music festival and create a work of kinetic typography. I ended up choosing a similar approach to what I did for the first assignment in creating a digital-stop-motion-style video. For my festival, I chose The Texxas Jam, which was an actual concert/festival held at the Cowboy's stadium in the 1980's. The line-up consists of bands/musicians I was listening to at the time.
